  • Expanding Venture Structured Finance recruits first Thames Valley Regional Director division

Premier Asset Based Financier Venture Structured Finance today announces the appointment of David Coulton as the company’s first Regional Director for the Thames Valley region. Based in the Thames Valley region, David will be responsible for developing new business.  David is the newest addition to the team and one of two recent appointments bringing with him 20 years’ industry experience.

David’s knowledge, experience and successful track record in the Invoice and Asset Based Lending sector will give Venture a significant presence and David will be responsible for delivering fully-fledged ABL packages including provisions for Cashflow Term Loans to increase Venture’s support to businesses in the Thames Valley region.

Prior to joining Venture, David was a Regional Director at GE Business Finance where he was responsible for new business and specialising in incorporating a complete range of Asset Based Finance and Cashflow facilities to medium sized businesses. David has also held a Regional Director role at GMAC where he was also tasked with identifying new business in the Thames Valley region.

David Coulton, Regional Director, Venture Structured Finance comments: “As Venture celebrates its first 20 years, I’m excited to be part of the ever-growing business. As the first appointment for the Thames Valley region, it symbolises the company’s commitment to growth in the area as we continue through turbulent times.

“We’re operating in difficult market conditions so good service is crucial to ensure that we continue to grow and meet our clients’ needs. Many firms are seeking robust and responsive solutions for refinancing and even turnaround and ABL can be invaluable in providing both the quantum and certainty of funding required for restructuring.”

Steve Websdale, Venture Structured Finance Managing Director, comments: “We’re delighted to be able to further expand our team and have a full-time representative for the Thames Valley region. David’s original way of structuring deals and providing solutions for complex funding issues will complement the team and is well suited to the economy that we are currently operating in.

“In our 20th year of operation, we have seen businesses through both good and challenging times. Despite the economic downturn, Venture is very much open for business and we are glad to be in a position to be able to continue to recruit top industry talent.”
