Venture Finance turns would-be headhunter into new client
It is not often a recruitment consultancy on the search becomes the subject of a successful sales pitch. However, that is exactly what happened with KCMB Recruitment Ltd and Venture Finance recently. Whilst being approached by KCMB as part of their headhunting initiative, Venture’s Nick Russell flexed his sales muscles and managed to pull in a new client for the premier independent Invoice and Asset Based Lender.
Based in Cheshire and specialising in recruitment solutions for the financial services industry KCMB initially contacted Nick Russell, Business Development Manager, at Venture Finance on behalf of one of its competitors. Over the course of the conversation, far from being tempted away from his employer, Nick was able to win Venture Finance a new client.
KCMB is now benefiting from a £300k Domestic and Export Factoring facility, for an ongoing boost to cashflow. The package also includes Bad Debt Protection to shield against unforeseen, unpaid, invoices due to insolvency. The company plans to use this extra funding to aid expansion of its international contracting business, Worldwide Recruitment Solutions.
